Miguel Perez
Violet Crown would like to welcome Miguel Perez to our design team as our Electronics Designer!
Miguel is a percussionist from Pflugerville, Texas and recent graduate of Texas State University where he received a B.S. in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Electronic Media. 
Miguel is an active percussion arranger and electronics designer in the San Antonio area where he has arranged and designed for several schools such as Harlan High School, MacArthur High School, James Madison High School, O’Connor High School, and Winston Churchill High School. Miguel has instructed several front ensembles in the Central Texas area. Most recently he has served as a front ensemble instructor at Winston Churchill High School, and at 5points Percussion, a WGI Open Class finalist.
His Drum Corps experience includes performing with the People’s Front Ensemble at Carolina Crown during the 2012 and 2013 seasons. In 2013, he helped secure the Drum Corps first World Class Championship victory.
Miguel currently resides in San Antonio working as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at San Antonio where he will be graduating with a Masters in Instructional Technology.
In addition to his audio work, Miguel will also assist with instruction in the front ensemble.
Miguel is excited to begin his new role as a designer at Violet Crown and the opportunity to team up with such a talented group of individuals!
