Our Mission
Our mission is to provide young musicians with a challenging, innovative, and multi-dimensional performance experience that focuses heavily on music education character development.
Our ensemble combines performing arts mediums to create a theatrical experience expressed through the voice of marching percussion and visualized through dance and visual artistic design.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
Marc Lopez - Cymbal Section Leader
Marc is in his second year with VC on the cymbal line. This year he joins us as the Cymbal section leader! Marc is a music major who plays trumpet at San Antonio College. He brings a ton of experience to the ensemble having marched with Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps in 2017 and the Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps in 2014 and 2015 on Trumpet. As a cymbal player, Marc performed with Thomas Jefferson High School Indoor Percussion and Monarch Independent before joining VIolet Crown for it's inaugural season in 2017.
Marc's enthusiam and high level of performing is contagious throughout the ensemble. He continues to push himself and the rest of the group to achieve the highest possible levels on a daily basis.
